Going to try to give her a hand as i do a majority of the cooking. I figured it might be helpful to find some people with a little insight on this matter or experience.

Also this diet is a 1200 calorie diet. If anyone has tried anything that they could recommend I would appreciate it.

I lost 10 pounds just by giving up wheat, so if you switch from wheat to another grain like rice, corn, amaranth, et cetera, it will help out.
